Common questions

A source says “Missing …” in Settings.
One of its credential fields is empty. Click Edit, fill it in, and save.
macOS asked whether Sensorly can use my keychain.
That's where your credentials live. Choose Always Allow so it doesn't ask again. If you chose Deny, quit and reopen Sensorly to be asked again.
Why is there no history from before I installed the app?
Most sensor services don't offer past readings through their API, so Sensorly records history itself, from the moment it first runs. It only records while the app is open, so turn on Launch at login for gap-free charts.
Which Home Assistant sensors show up?
Every sensor.* entity with device class temperature or humidity. Entities named like office_temperature and office_humidity are paired into one row. Use the optional filter to limit which entity IDs are shown.
How often does it update?
Every 5 minutes by default; choose 1 to 30 minutes in Settings. It also refreshes when you open the menu if the data is more than a minute old. Some services rate-limit their APIs, so very short intervals with many sensors may produce errors.
How do I remove everything?
Delete each source in Settings (this removes its credentials from the Keychain), use Clear History…, then move Sensorly to the Trash.
